Projects > Refuge

Refuge is a two-part project. First, we collaborated on a playful mixed-media installation in a temporary joint studio space at the Hyde Park Art Center. We also created a site-specific installation in a hotel room at the Mile North Hotel in Chicago, incorporating many of the concepts created during our studio collaboration. Materials used include newspaper, custom-designed textiles, a parachute, spray chalk and dry ice, as well as a curated selection of works by other artists we admire.
